Available for Commission Only—Olive Green Lozenge Pillowcase Handwoven in Linen

A true heirloom pillowcase.

Handwoven in linen in a lozenge twill pattern on a nineteenth century barn loom. I measure the warp, warp the loom, thread the heddles, sley the reed, tie on the warp, and in the end weave the cloth. The hem is hand pressed and stitched with the "invisible stitch." The side hems are sewn together by hand with a baseball stitch.

The warp is a natural linen, and the weft is dyed olive green. The natural sheen of linen catches the light.

This pillowcase is on the smaller size and works best for firm standard pillows. If you are interested in a larger pillowcase or would like a pillowcase in another color, please contact me. I am happy to weave a custom order for you, and offer discounts on multiple pillowcases or bedding sets.
