Handwoven Hemp Herringbone Twill Kitchen Towel with Cotton and Linen Stripes

This towel was handwoven on a nineteenth century barn loom. I measured the warp, threaded the heddles, sleyed the reed, beamed on, wove the towels, and finally cut each one and sewed the hems by hand.
From start to finish, I make my towels by hand.
This towel is made of undyed hemp, with undyed linen and black cotton stripes.
The hemp is hardy with a smooth finish.
